U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Adan Moreno, sergeant major of Marine Corps Recruiting Command, welcomed Young Marines from the Potomac River Young Marines when they came to visit and receive an award, at the James Wesley Marsh Center on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Feb. 9, 2024. The Young Marines are led by the 12th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Harold G. Overstreet. While they were here, the Young Marines received a tour of the building, met with the personnel that work at MCRC, and talked with Marines about what their futures could hold. It’s important to showcase everything the Marine Corps can offer, especially jobs and tasks that those interested might not know the Marine Corps does behind the scenes.
