Musicians with the Marine Corps Jazz Orchestra perform at the Orange County School of the Arts Concert Hall, Mar. 1, 2017. This is the first of many upcoming performances throughout California that showcase the United States Marine Corps’ gratitude and appreciation for the American people through the power of music, and highlights the talents of Marine musicians in a way that inspires others to join their ranks. Formed in 2008, the Marine Corps Jazz Orchestra has included members from the world-renowned “The Commandants Own” U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band, as well as the 10 elite U.S. Marine Corps Field Bands.
