Sgt. Maj. Spencer J. Beacham (center), the outgoing senior enlisted leader of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Orange County, returns the sword of office to Maj. James Dollard, his commanding officer, during a relief and appointment ceremony in Seal Beach, Caif., Jan. 15, 2016. During the ceremony, Beacham, from Dothan, Ala., was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal and relinquished duties to Sgt. Maj. Jason A. Politte.
