CARSON, Calif.,- Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Team West quarterback Brian Lewerke, a Phoenix, Ariz., native, throws a pass Jan. 4, 2015, at The StubHub Center. The bowl brings selected players like Lewerke, a Pinnacle High School student committed to playing at Michigan State, together with Marines and football coaches to develop skills not only important to football, but throughout life, such as leadership, self-confidence and teamwork.
