Members of the Silent Drill Platoon exchange rifles during a performance for the 3,000 spectators attending the inaugural Service to America Day at Colt?s Neck High School, April 1. The event, co-hosted by Recruiting Station New Jersey, also featured the Quantico Marine Band, as well as static displays of Marine Corps vehicles and aircraft. The guest of honor was Lt. General James N. Mattis, commanding general of the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Development Center.
