The mayor of St. Louis, Francis G. Slay, hands a proclamation to Major Gen. Raymond C. Fox, commanding general, Training and Education Command, and Lt. Col. T. Shane Tomko, commanding officer, 3/24, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Marine Week. The proclamation declared the week of 20 June to 26 June to be Marine Week in St. Louis. The Marines will hold different events and performances over the course of the week, and will also be involved in various volunteer efforts throughout the city.
