Major Gen. Walter E. Gaskin, commanding general, Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Quantico, Va., awards Sergeant Major James Futrell during a relief and appointment ceremony held at the Al Gray Research Center May 19, 2006. Futrell relinquished his post to Sgt. Maj. Fenton Reese as the new sergeant major of Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
