1.  Tasks

    a. National Training Team. 

        (1) Host and assume overall cognizance for coordination and conduct of the course.

        (2) Receive all attendee, all instructor, and student names and required student data for each student from each region.

        (3) Provide facilitation oversight, facilitator kits as needed, and participant kits for each student.

        (4) Coordinate NCC billeting arrangements for all students, instructors, and visitors.

        (5) Submit course student information, through Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) Student Registrar module, to Commanding General, Training and Education Command (CG TECOM) (4611) within 30 calendar days prior to course convening date.

        (6) Coordinate with CG TECOM (4611) to request funding and generate a funding letter for each student. Forward the funding letter for each student to parent commands NLT ten calendar days prior to the course convening date.

        (7) Submit course convening rosters through MCTIMS Student Registrar module to CG TECOM (4611) within 5 calendar days of the class convening date.

        (8) Validate course student and class data (rosters, completion rosters, graduation reports, etc.) through MCTIMS Student Registrar module within 5 calendar days after course completion.

        (9) Solicit and confirm guest instructors and speakers (MCRC HQ and outside agency) to help conduct the course.

        (10) Provide training and evaluation for each MCRC provided instructor prior to the course convening date. The evaluation period will be sufficient enough to evaluate each instructor’s ability to use a facilitator’s guide, gauge course content knowledge, and train and develop an instructor who may need remediation.

        (11) Confirm training and evaluation of each region provided instructor is scheduled and conducted (by each region) prior to the course convening date. The evaluation period will be sufficient enough to evaluate each instructor’s ability to use a facilitator’s guide, gauge course content knowledge, and train and develop an instructor who may need remediation.

        (12) Ten days prior to course convening, Course Chief will validate that instructor training and evaluations were conducted.

        (13) Create an after action report for the AC/S G-3 NLT seven calendar days from end of course.

    b. Commanding Generals, Eastern and Western Recruiting Regions. 

        (1) Ensure all newly assigned RIs (or will be assigned or who have not previously attended this course) are submitted and enrolled for this course.

        (2) Ensure all attendee names and required student data for each student are submitted to course head NLT 30 calendar days before class convene date. Due to TECOM appropriation data procedures, exceptions within 30 days of convening date are non-waiverable.

        (3) Provide two instructors (one region and one district Chief) to help conduct the course NLT 30 days prior to course convene date.

        (4) Ensure each attendee has a copy of this Playbook, all required material, and is prepared for the course.

        (5) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (6) Ensure each District Training Team Chief contacts their respective attendees to provide additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

        (7) Confirm attendee, instructor, and student attendance with course head NLT ten calendar days prior to course start date.

    c. Commanding Officers, Recruiting Districts

        (2) Ensure each attendee has a copy of this Playbook, all required material, and is prepared for the course.

        (3) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (4) Ensure District Training Team Chief contacts their respective attendees to provide additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

    d. Students

        (1) Download a digital copy of the current Volume III. This document can be downloaded from the MCRC G3, NTT Training Library Portal Page.

        (2) Bring a government issued computer with the following reference material for use throughout the course (electronic format is acceptable):

            (a) Most recent Commander’s Attainment Report for the RS and a few recruiting sub-stations (RSS).

            (b) The previous monthly Priority Prospect Card Report.

            (c) The previous monthly Command Recruiting Report.

            (d) Your RS structure analysis sheet.

            (e) Three trip reports from command group member visits in the RS.

            (f) Previous month’s activity analysis for the RS as well as the RSSs.

            (g) The previous RS Monthly Pool Report.

            (h) Copies of a few current pool cards from an RSS.

            (i) Most recent HS/CC Progress Report.

            (j) Current Annual Training Plan.

            (k) Current copy of the Volume III, RS SRI checklist.

        (3) Ensure you have an active MCRISS account (MCRISS RS or PSRS and RSS and OSS or PSRSS) with permissions and access to the MCRISS Web Query Tool and Microsoft Power PI.

        (4) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (5) Contact your respective district training team for any additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

2.  Coordinating Instructions, Administration and Logistics.

   (a) Funding. For Active Reserve students (PSR 8422), the attendee’s parent command is responsible for funding all travel and lodging.
