1.  Tasks

    a. National Training Team

        (1) Assume overall cognizance for coordination and conduct of the course.

        (2) Receive all attendee and Leadership Panel names and required student data for each anticipated student from both the 8412 and 8422 MOS monitors.

        (3) Provide instructors, facilitator kits as needed, and participant kits for each student.

        (4) Coordinate NCC billeting arrangements for all students, instructors, and visitors.

        (5) Submit course student information, through Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) Student Registrar module, to Commanding General, Training and Education Command (CG TECOM) (4611) within 30 calendar days prior to course convening date.

        (6) Coordinate with CG TECOM (4611) to request funding and generate a funding letter for each student. Forward the funding letter for each student to parent commands NLT ten calendar days prior to the course convening date.

        (7) Submit course convening rosters through MCTIMS Student Registrar module to CG TECOM (4611) within 5 calendar days of the class convene date.

        (8) Validate course student and class data (rosters, completion rosters, graduation reports, etc.) through MCTIMS Student Registrar module within 5 calendar days after course completion.

        (9) Solicit and confirm guest instructors and speakers (MCRC HQ and outside agency) to help conduct the course.

        (10) Provide training and evaluation for each guest instructor prior to the course convening date. The evaluation period will be sufficient enough to evaluate each instructor’s ability to use a facilitator’s guide, gauge course content knowledge, and train and develop an instructor who may need remediation.

        (11) Create an after action report for the AC/S G-3 NLT seven calendar days after course completion date.

    b. Commanding Generals, Eastern and Western Recruiting Regions

        (1) Ensure all newly approved 8412s/8422s are enrolled for this course.

        (2) Ensure all attendee names and student data provided by the 8412/8422 MOS monitor is validated via email sent to course head NLT 30 calendar days before class convene date. Due to TECOM appropriation data procedures, exceptions within 30 days of convening date are non-waiverable.

        (3) Provide two Marines (region or district level 4810/8412/8422) to participate in the Leadership Panel NLT 30 days prior to course convene date.

        (4) Ensure each attendee has a copy of this Playbook, all required material, and is prepared for the course.

        (5) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (6) Ensure each District Training Team Chief contacts their respective attendees to provide additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

        (7) Confirm attendee and student attendance with course head NLT ten calendar days prior to course convene date.

    c. Commanding Officers, Recruiting Districts

        (1)Ensure appropriate Marines (4810/8412/8422) selected to participate in Leadership Panel (if required) are submitted and student names are confirmed with region training team.

        (2) Ensure each attendee has a copy of this Playbook, all required material, and is prepared for the course.

        (3) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (4) Ensure each District Training Team Chief contacts their respective attendees to provide additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

    d. Students

        (1) 8412s, download Volumes I, II, III. 8422s, download Volumes VIII and IX from the MCRC G3 Training Team SharePoint Site.

        (2) Bring a government issued computer with the following reference material for use throughout the course (electronic format is acceptable):

            (a) Analysis Sheets

            (b) Activity Objectives Sheets

            (d) Mission Restatement and Goals Letters

            (e) Trip Reports

            (f) Year-In-Sight

            (g) Month-In-Sight from two recruiters

            (h) Current Manpower Plan

            (i) Time Distribution Plan/Manpower Plan Time Distribution Sheet

            (j) Structure Analysis Sheet (in PSRS Structure Book)

            (k) SNCOIC Management Book

            (l) PSRS Annual Plan

            (m) PSRS Annual Training Plan

        (3) Ensure you have an active MCRISS account (MCRISS RS and RSS/PSRSS) with appropriate permissions and access.

        (4) Ensure your AdPortal account is active.

        (5) Students must complete the Command Screening Checklist (enclosure 3) and email a pdf copy to the course head NLT 15 days prior to arrival. Students must bring their original Command Screening Checklist and submit to course head on training day one.

        (6) Ensure appropriate travel authorization and vouchers are created and submitted.

        (7) Contact your respective district training team for any additional guidance not covered in this Playbook.

2.  Coordinating Instructions, Administration and Logistics.

   (a) Uniform

        (1) Check-in. On training day one, students will report wearing Green on Green PT gear for height and weight measurements.

        (2) Physical Training (PT). Organized PT is scheduled throughout the course. Plan for seasonal weather conditions. All students are required to bring their Marine Corps Running Suit.

   (b) Funding. For Active Reserve students (PSR 8421/22), funding is provided by Reserve Affairs. Coordinate with the PSR Training Chief to secure funding.
