Every member of Marine Corps Recruiting Command is critical to our success. Unit, Personal, and Family Readiness is fundamental to mission accomplishment and force preservation. The Recruiting environment is challenging enough without our people having to worry about their and their family’s support and welfare. It is imperative our Marines, sailors, civilians, and their families are made aware of and provided programs and resources to build strong and resilient family structures able to sustain and thrive both personally and professionally on their independent duty.

Family Readiness and Religious Programs are vital to the readiness and health of our units.  These programs not only benefit service members and their families, but also have a positive impact on a unit’s morale and readiness. The fundamental support we develop with our families and loved ones, along with the importance our families play in the readiness of this command, cannot be over-emphasized. I encourage all to engage with your Marine Corps Family Team Building and Readiness Coordinators and our Religious Program Specialists at all levels. Please seek out and utilize the myriad of resources and family programs made available to you.

Commanders will ensure that all Readiness Coordinators and Religious Program Specialists are provided the appropriate tools, training, and resources necessary to take care of our team. Creating a climate of trust and reliability through communication and relationships with our Marines, sailors, civilians, and their families is paramount.

I appreciate the hard work and dedicated efforts of our recruiters, those who support the recruiting effort, and our families, and am committed to each of your personal and professional well-being and development. Please never hesitate to ask if there is more we can do for you in this regard. The Sergeant Major and I remain Semper Fidelis in seeing to your needs.

Mission first, People always.
