Captain Konstantaras was born in Oakland, California. He attended Antioch High School and worked in the civilian sector for several years before beginning his Marine Corps career. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2011 and attended Recruit Training aboard MCRD San Diego in January 2012.
Upon completion of Recruit Training, Private First Class Konstantaras completed Marine Combat Training at School of Infantry West and graduated as Company Honorman of Company Kilo. Upon completion of combat training, Private First Class Konstantaras received orders to Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida where he completed Aviation Warfare Apprenticeship Training and Aviation Machinist Mate Helicopter Strand training. In November 2012, upon completion of all MOS training, Lance Corporal Konstantaras received orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39 aboard Camp Pendleton, CA where he served as a helicopter mechanic. In July 2014, Sergeant Konstantaras deployed to the CENTCOM AOR with the 11th MEU in support of Operation Inherent Resolve where he served as the Helicopter Detachment NCOIC.
Upon returning from deployment in February 2015, Sergeant Konstantaras served as the SNCOIC for his work center at MALS-39. In November 2016, Sergeant Konstantaras was accepted to the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program and received orders to Officer Candidate School. In January 2017, Sergeant Konstantaras attended Officer Candidate School where he graduated in April 2017.
Upon completion of Officer Candidate School, Sergeant Konstantaras returned to Camp Pendleton to begin college. In July 2017, Sergeant Konstantaras checked in to Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps San Diego where he attended school at California State University San Marcos. In December 2019, Staff Sergeant Konstantaras graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Criminology and was subsequently commissioned a Second Lieutenant.
Following commissioning, Second Lieutenant Konstantaras attended The Basic School in September 2020. In May 2021, Second Lieutenant Konstantaras attended the Basic Communication Officer Course aboard MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. Upon graduation in December 2021, First Lieutenant Konstantaras received orders to Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion, First Marine Division where he served as the Network Platoon Commander and Division Forward Platoon Commander.
In February 2023, First Lieutenant Konstantaras deployed to Pohang, South Korea in support of Exercise Freedom Shield where he served as the Communications Detachment OIC for the First Marine Division Forward. In May 2023, he reported to Headquarters Company, HQBN, 1MARDIV for duties as the Company Executive Officer.
In November 2023, First Lieutenant Konstantaras reported to 2d Bn, 4th Marines where he served as the Battalion Communications Officer and was promoted to the rank of Captain in March 2024. In November 2024, Captain Konstantaras deployed with BLT 2/4 to Okinawa, Japan where he participated in the 31st MEU’s 25.1 patrol.
Upon return from deployment in April 2025, Captain Konstantaras reported to Marine Corps Recruiters School where he currently serves as the Executive Officer and Academics Director.
Captain Konstantaras’ personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (3) and the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (2). He currently resides in Temecula, CA with his wife Mariane and their four children.
