Sergeant Major Beacham was born in Dothan, Alabama. He enlisted in the Marine Corps 18 June 1990 and reported to Parris Island October 1990 for training with Company M, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion where he graduated Private First Class. Upon completion, he received training at Marine Combat Training Camp Lejeune and graduated from the Distribution Management Course Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Upon completion of MOS school, Sergeant Major Beacham reported to 3rd Force Service Support Group, CSSD-36, Iwakuni, Japan. During this tour, he served in the Air Terminal Operation Center (ATOC).
In May 1993, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Headquarters, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona for duty. There he served as a distribution freight shipping specialist and participated in numerous Weapons and Tactics Instructions (WTI).

In May 1996, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport, California for duty. There he served as distribution chief and participated in numerous training evolutions.

In August 1998, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Marine Corps Base Okinawa, Japan for duty. There he served as Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge Marine Liaison Kadena Air Base.

In August 1999, Sergeant Major Beacham attended Drill Instructor School Class 1-00 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California. Upon graduating he was assigned to Company C, 1st Recruit Training Battalion as a Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor. He was later promoted to Staff Sergeant and served as a Martial Arts Instructor and Chief Instructor Academic Instruction Platoon.

In October 2002, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Marine Forces Europe, Stuttgart, Germany for duty. There he served as the Marine Expeditor, Theater Distribution Management Cell (TDMC).

In August 2004, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. There he served as freight chief and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2-2 with Combat Service Support Group-15. Sergeant Major Beacham also deployed with Marine Corps Logistics Command in January 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 6-8.

In April 2008, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California. There he served as Company First Sergeant, Company A, Instructional Training Company First Sergeant, and Support Battalion Sergeant Major.

In August 2010, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to 5th Battalion 11th Marines. There he served as Headquarters Battery First Sergeant.

In February 2011, Sergeant Major Beacham received orders to 2nd Battalion 11th Marines. There he served as Echo Battery First Sergeant and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 11-2 and 12-1.

In April 2013 Sergeant Major Beacham was assigned to Recruiting Station Orange County and assumed his current duties as Recruiting Station Sergeant Major.
Sergeant Major Beacham is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy and the Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education Course (SEPME).
Sergeant Major Beacham holds an Associate of Arts Degree Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Criminal Justice. Sergeant Major Beacham is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education with a Major in Social Science.

Sergeant Major Beacham’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4th award), Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
