U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Robert Simms, canvassing recruiter of Recruiting Sub Station Mesquite, is awarded the “Centurion” helm on Sept. 30, 2022 for his valiant efforts in Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC). SSgt. Simms contracted 101 enlisted individuals into the Marine Corps as a canvassing recruiter of Recruiting Sub Station Mesquite. Charlotte Prior Service Recruiter receives Centurion Award

Without U.S. Marine Corps recruiters there would not be a Marine Corps. Marines selected for recruiting duty have the task of reaching out into the civilian population and screening the most qualified Americans who want to rise to the challenge of becoming a Marine. Prior Service Recruiting (PSR) runs its own challenge of convincing Marines who are no longer active duty and affiliate them with their local Marine Corps Reserve unit. Staff Sgt. Justin Baldwin is one of these Marines.

Bridgeport Recruiter Earns Centurion Title

“Honestly I wasn’t paying attention to the Centurion thing,” said Staff Sgt. Damali Alliman, recruiter, Recruiting Substation Bridgeport. “I was just here to help as much as possible and change lives.”
