U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Haley Mathers poses for a photo at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, following her promotion ceremony on March 8, 2019. The ceremony took place next to a replica of the Molly Marine statue, the first monument of a female in a service uniform and tribute to the first female Marines.
