WASHINGTON — Maj. David Hankle speaks to Savannah Washington (left) and Makiyah Trumpet at a career fair during the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) 2019 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Conference in the District of Columbia, February 8, 2019. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command and Marine Forces Cyberspace Command are devoted to educating the American public on Marine Corps values and presenting opportunities to those individuals who possess the aspiration and determination to enlist or commission. Hankle is the 4th Marine Corps District Assistant for Officer Procurement. Washington and Trumpet are students at Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Prince George's County, Maryland.
