Capt. Michael Brant, officer-in-charge, All-Marine Wrestling Team, delivers opening remarks about a fallen Marine during the Tim Brown Memorial Tournament at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, Jan. 13, 2017. Brant spoke about the toughness and warrior spirit of wrestlers and related that quality to Lance Cpl. Timothy W. Brown, a Sacramento native and former Foothill High School wresters who was killed in action in Al Anbar province, Iraq, on Nov. 15, 2006, while serving as an infantryman with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
