Approximately 200 students from across the Nation graduate the 2016 Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy at Little Hall aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., July 23. The students were called to attention to be dismissed after receiving their certificates of completion. SLCDA is an outreach program designed to teach rising high school Juniors and Seniors Marine Corps ethics, values and leadership traits. The event provides the Corps with an opportunity to engage with top high school students and transform them into advocates for the Marine Corps.
