Recruiting Station Los Angeles Marines and more than 30 high school educators from Los Angeles pose for a photo during their tour on the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, June 15, 2016, as part of RS Los Angeles’ Educators Workshop. High school educators, consisting of teachers, coaches, and counselors from Los Angeles took part in joint educators workshop with Recruiting Stations San Diego and San Francisco. The workshop was a week-long, June 13-17, event in San Diego where educators got an opportunity to see recruit training firsthand, talk with Marine Corps drill instructors, and recruits in training, and was able to talk to active-duty Marines while aboard a Marine Corps installation. Thirty-one educators from the Los Angeles area made the annual trip. Each visit lasts one week, and participants also experience life on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Airs Station Miramar. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Staff Sgt. Alicia R.
