Colonel Julie L. Nethercot speaks with and answers questions from approximately 40 educators from states west of the Mississippi River at the Officer Candidates School Parade Deck aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., June 21 for the 2016 Key Leaders and Educators Workshop. The workshop includes events such as infantry patrolling, flight simulations and many others. The week-long workshop creates mutually beneficial relationships between educators and the Marine Corps where key leaders can better guide college students interested in becoming Marine officers based on firsthand experience. Nethercot is the commanding officer of OCS.
