Marines welcomed approximately 39 educators from states east of the Mississippi River during a ceremony near Quantico, Va., June 6 for the 2016 Key Leaders and Educators Workshop. Until the workshop ends June 10, it includes events such as infantry patrolling, flight simulations and many others in order to provide educators a robust understanding of what goes into making Marine leaders. The workshop creates a mutually beneficial relationship between educators and the Marine Corps where key leaders and educators can share knowledge about the Corps to students based on firsthand experience.
