Lieutenant Col. Christopher Shaw (left) and Capt. Matthew Ervine speak with National Black Law Student Association members during the 2016 NBLSA Convention Career Fair at the Renaissance Hotel in Baltimore, Md., March 11, 2016. The NBLSA is a national organization, formed to articulate and promote the needs and goals of black law students and to effectuate change in the legal community. Shaw currently serves as the legal advisor to the Secretary of the Navy at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Ervine currently serves as a Diversity Officer at Marine Corps Recruiting Command in Quantico, Va.
