Captain Matthew Ervine discusses the importance of leadership in the workplace during the Mexican American Engineers and Scientists Leadership Academy leadership workshop in San Antonio, February 18, 2016. Ervine currently serves as a Diversity Officer at Marine Corps Recruiting Command in Quantico, VA. The presence of the Marine Corps at MAES creates a positive reminder to those participating that the Marine Corps continues to seek out diversity in its ranks and leaders.
