Marines with the Recruiting Station Houston Color Guard performed a colors ceremony aboard the Battleship USS Texas to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the activation of the 1st Marine Division, Jan. 31, 2016. The 1st MarDiv was activated aboard the Battleship USS Texas on Feb. 1, 1941. It is the oldest, largest, and most decorated division in the Marine Corps.
