SAN MATEO, Calif. - Staff Sgt. Matthew Ullrich, a canvassing recruiter from San Mateo, Calif., Pvt. Junior Savu, a Mountain View, Calif. native, and Pvt. Benjamin Cianchini, a Palo Alto, Calif. native, celebrated the Marine Corps 240th Birthday with retired GySgt. William J. Correll, a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Correll, a 91-year-old Millbrae, Calif. native, shared stories of his service with the young Marines, before they presented him with a celebratory piece of cake in honor of the Marine Corps' Birthday.
