Gunnery Sgt. Victor Perez, prior service recruiter, 8th Marine Corps District, receives his promotion warrant after being meritoriously promoted by Gen. James F. Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps, during a ceremony, here, Feb. 4. In fiscal year 2013, Perez managed to recruit over 70 of the wise, skillful, knowledgeable prior serivce Marines the Mainre Corps hopes to keep. His dedication to recruiting earned him the title of Marine Corps Recruiting Command prior service recruiter of the year for FY13.
