Haskell Small Award for volunteerism, during the USO of Metropolitan Washington Annual Celebration of Volunteers at the officer’s club, here, Saturday. Presenting the award is Army Col. Charles Callahan, Commander, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. Hanible, a Chicago native, is the founder and chief executive officer of Operation Heroes Connect, a non-profit organization that provides at risk youth with positive role models through volunteer service members and veterans. MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. — Midshipman Meatrice Starr maneuvers through an obstacle course during her participation in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship Program at Savannah State University (SSU) in Savannah, Ga.
