U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Brooke Billiot is reunited with her son, Kysan, following a graduation ceremony at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, Feb. 14, 2020. In order to become a Marine, Billiot was required to relinquish custody of her son, due to the inability of recruits to care for their dependents while completing the 13-week training cycle.
