SgtMaj Lanpolsaen, the Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) SgtMaj, always knows exactly how to motivate the Marines. His call to action can be heard across the entire depot.
SgtMaj Palos, the SgtMaj of the Marine Corps Recruiters School, can always be found leading from the front. SgtMaj Palos is one of the main pillars of leadership at the schoolhouse.
Gunnery Sergeant Ryan Lungerhausen provides balanced feedback during the new instructor teach-back interview. The feedback given allows course instructors to constantly improve the product they deliver to each student.
Recruiters School instructors are expected to be the Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Systematic Recruiting, Quality Enlistment Procedures, Marine Corps Presentation Skills, Digital Engagement, and Marine Corps Communication and Consulting.
The Chief Instructor, BRC Course Head, and section Course Chiefs provide balanced feedback during the new instructor teach-back interviews.
Every class has an opportunity to participate in the SgtMaj Moto Run. This run is designed to motivate and foster a sense of pride in the unit.
Stretching one...... following a motivational run, Marines cool down and stretch in order to keep their mind and body operating at peak physical performance.
The Marine Corps Recruiters School is built upon teamwork. Marines can attend the Basic Recruiters Course (BRC), the Career Planners Course (CPC), or the Prior Service Recruiters Course (PSRC). Gunnery Sergeant O'Malley and Gunnery Sergeant Lungerhausen set the perfect example of unit cohesion.
The Recruiters School Physical Training Instructor (PTI), GySgt Kulvanish, oversees the physical training program for all courses. The beautiful San Diego skyline provides the perfect backdrop for a run.
Welcome Aboard

Welcome to the United States Marine Corps Recruiters School. Here we screen and train Staff Noncommissioned Officers and Noncommissioned Officers to recruit and retain the high-quality individuals necessary to sustain the finest fighting force the world has ever seen.

We take our mission seriously and rally behind a "Protect the House" mantra, which extends to our homes, school house, Marine Corps and Nation. To be ready, we strive for balance of mind, body and spirit and never forget our responsibilities to others.

We own our mission by taking care of people.

Our staff is the best in the business. Each instructor earned credibility in the fleet before transitioning into successful careers as recruiters or career planners. Every classroom at Recruiters School is led by a hand-selected Marine who has faced the challenging demands of the recruiting and retention missions and emerged as a proven professional.

Throughout the school year, we offer five courses:

              Basic Recruiter Course

              Basic Career Planner Course

              Prior Service Recruiter Course

              Advanced Career Planner Course

              Reserve Career Planner Course

Each course equips our students with the skills required to forge a force that will fight and win on the 21st Century battlefield.

Please contact us if you have any questions. If you have already been selected to attend one of our courses, we look forward to your arrival. You can expect to be challenged. More importantly, you can expect to leave Recruiters School better prepared to succeed in work and in life.
