Captain Austin W. Carroll Keeley
Deputy Director, Recruiters School

Captain Austin W. Carroll Keeley reported for officer training to Officer Candidates School, Quantico, Virginia in September 2014. After commissioning in November 2014 he graduated from the Basic Officer Course and the Infantry Officer Course. In October 2015 he reported to 1st Battalion, 4th Marines in Camp Pendleton, California and deployed as the Rifle Platoon Commander in support of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and conducted combat operations in Syria in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE.

Following his redeployment, Captain Carroll Keeley took command of Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines in July 2017. He relinquished command in December 2017 and deployed as the Weapons Company Executive Officer to Okinawa, Japan as a part of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. In June 2019, Captain Carroll Keeley reported to Recruiters School, Marine Corps Recruit Deport, San Diego, California where he currently serves as the Deputy Director.
Captain Carroll Keeley is a graduate of Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor's of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Classic Studies. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. Captain Carroll Keeley and his wife, Angelina, are the proud parents of Sophia.
