Master Sergeant Lynch completed recruit training at MCRD Parris Island, SC in September 2003 and attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, NC. Upon completion he reported to Camp Johnson, NC for classification as a Landing Support Specialist (0481).
Upon completion of training in December 2003, he was transferred to the Select Marine Corps Reserve and was assigned to 2nd Beach & Terminal Operations Company, 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Force Services Support Group in Savannah, GA.
In June 2004, Lance Corporal (LCpl) Lynch accepted short term active duty orders and was assigned to Reserve Support Unit, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA as a facilities crew member in Camp Upshur.
In February 2005, LCpl Lynch was accepted into the Active Reserve program and lateral moved to the Military Occupational Specialty 0431, Logistics Embarkation Specialist. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division in Garden City, NY for duty as the Embarkation Chief. During this assignment he deployed to Al Asad Airbase Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In July 2009, Sergeant Lynch was assigned to Marine Air Control Group 48, 4th Marine Air Wing in Great Lakes, IL for duty as Embarkation Chief. He also held the billets of Logistics Chief, Ground Safety Manager, and Facilities Chief.
From September 2011 until May 2014, Staff Sergeant Lynch served as the Regimental Logistics Chief for 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division located in Ft Devens, MA.
From May 2014 until July 2016 he served as a Prior Service Recruiter in Allentown, PA. He was named the Prior Service Recruiter of the Year for 1st Marine Corps District in Fiscal Year 2015. In July 2016, he assumed duties as Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC) Prior Service Recruiting Substation Philadelphia, PA and executed a lateral move to Career Recruiter (8412). He was named the Marine Corps Recruiting Command SNCOIC of the year for Fiscal Year 2017.
In June 2018, he assumed duties as Operations Chief for Prior Service Recruiting Station One, 1st Marine Corps District in Garden City, NY. He assumed his current billet of Prior Service Recruiting Station One Recruiter Instructor in July 2019.
His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (gold star in lieu of 5th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (gold star in lieu of 3rd award), and the Marine Corps Recruiting Ribbon.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Transportation and Logistics Management.
