Basic Information

·         Check In Location:  MCRD San Diego, CA, Recruiters School, Building 27, center of the first deck.

·         Administrative Day 1 :  Tuesday, 3 September 2013 NLT 1300 Service A Uniform

·         Students must check in with:

o   Complete set of orders

o   Detaching endorsement from parent command

o   Service Record Book

o   Medical and Dental Records

o   Commanding Officer’s Screening Checklist -- recertified within 30 days

o   Copy of valid Driver’s License

o   Copy of your most recent LES

o   Valid ID (CAC) card with working pin

o   Current NACLAC

o   Motorcycle documentation (if applicable)

o   Students will have a few miscellaneous expenses upon arrival to the Basic Recruiter Course:

§  School PT Shirts   $30.00

§  Class Photo         $5.00

·         Uniform of the Day:  Mon-Wed (Seasonal Utility Uniform)

                     Thurs-Fri (Seasonal Service Uniform)

·         Class Number:  BRC 6-13

·         Graduation Date: Thursday, 24 October 2013 @ 0815

(Don’t plan returning flights earlier than 1300)

Note:  Students traveling on funded orders will schedule their flights to arrive at San Diego International Airport, 3225 N Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.  Taxi service will be utilized from the San Diego International Airport to MCRD San Diego.  The approximate taxi cost is $15.00.  Students traveling on funded orders between the hours of 1630 and 2359 2 September 2013 will report to Building 31.  The Officer of the Day will stamp your orders to ensure you receive the appropriate TAD funds upon reporting back to your parent command.  Marines stationed within the local travel area (MCB Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar, NAB Coronado, Naval Base Point Loma or San Diego, Balboa Naval Hospital) are not authorized billeting and will report to Recruiters School Building 27 on 3 September 2013 NLT 1300.  Orders will be stamped at that time.  All students will do a formal check-in to Recruiters School in the Service Alpha uniform, 3 September 2013. 

 

Fitness Reports:

Fitness reports are required per MCO P1610.7.  You will receive an academic “from temporary duty” (FD) report at the end of this TAD period.  Ensure you submit a “to temporary duty” (TD) report ending the day before you leave for the school (per par. 3004.6).

o   Print Out of PG11/NJP's/Court Martial 

o   Medical and Dental Records

o   New Commanding Officer’s Screening Checklist -- recertified within 30 days

o   Printed copy of valid Driver’s License

o   Copy of your most recent LES

o   Valid ID (CAC) card with working pin

o   Current NACLAC

o   Motorcycle documentation (if applicable)
