Carson, Ca - CARSON, Calif. - Gunnery Sgt. Ricardo Broderick, the battery gunnery sergeant with Battery O, 5th Battaion, 14 Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, and Ewing, N.J., native, times a Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl attendee on his ability raise an M-777 Howitzer during the fan fest before the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl at The StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Jan. 5, 2014. Local Marines from the reserve center and recruiting district set up vehicles and booths for the bowl attendees to learn more about the Marine Corps and be entertained before the start of the game. The Semper Fidelis Football Program brought together over 90 of the best high-school football players in an East versus West game and is an opportunity for the Marine Corps to connect on a personal and local level with players and influencers, demonstrates commitment to developing quality citizens, and reinforces how core values of honor, courage and commitment relate to success on and off the field.
